An American & Rare Breeds Farm

Home of the Northeast's First Guinea Hog Breeding Farm

Piglets  Available

We will be offering fewer animals in 2010 as we are concentrating on quality over quantity. We will continue to work with the Nebraska and Ohio lines and will be further developing the Virginia line to compliment and hopefully, strengthen, others' breeding stock.
March 2010 - Ten hogs of various ages, two boars and eight gilts, headed to Virginia this month!  We have two young boars (6 & 8 months old) for sale.  If you are starting out, getting a boar is a good way to begin while waiting for a compatible gilt.  They are easy to really tame and are the more laid back of the sexes, believe it or not.   All they need from you is a good shelter to stay out of the wind and elements, to be up off the cold ground and to have a deep bed of straw, food and water.  They don't take up much space as youngsters and short of a scratch from you, do not need a whole lot more.

Although we cannot tell you how to keep your animals, we also encourage you, as guinea hog owners, to put them on the dinner table and to promote them as a manageable and healthy alternative to factory farmed pork.  It is the only way to keep the breed alive.

Please call or email us to discuss your guinea hog needs.  Thanks!
Breeders & Buyers: We can air ship piglets to you although there are restristions due to low temperatures. Print the general guidelines.   October 2009 - Please note - shipping info has changed, as Delta and Northwest Airlines have merged.
