We are a 65 acre farm located in southern New Hampshire housing a variety of animals from horses to hogs, as well as hardy-breed laying hens, and more.

One of our goals here is to help in some small way in the preservation of rare and endangered American breeds that have adapted or can adapt to life here in the northeast.  We would also like to share our ever-growing knowledge of the animals that sustained the people of our country prior to agri-business.  We have a rich agricultural heritage in the U.S., as many breeds brought to America in the 17th & 18th centuries successfully adapted and subsequently evolved in regional climates and with the vegetation available.

Rare are the folks that have the ability to manage a farm full time, unless the farm was part of their family's history.  As with most small-scale backyard growers, we work off the farm but start and end our days surrounded by our animals and nature. It is good for the soul.

One of the reasons we work so hard 7 days a week is that we are genuinely concerned about the quality of commerically grown food, including meats.  Agri-business has created a chemically-filled, fast growing (by any means possible) "product" that lives a tortured life, undeserving of any living creature.  Consumers are becoming aware en masse of what they are ingesting and are making the healthful decision to do something differently.  Learn more here by viewing
The Meatrix, an award-winning presentation that can enlighten you to the goings-on in factory farming run by the huge agri-businesses.  The Meatrix was done in cartoon format and does not show anything distasteful or upsetting. Take the time to take a look. You'll be glad you did as it is informative and factual.

Our farm motto is "You are what THEY eat".
We would like to encourage more people to make animals and agriculture a part of their lives, even if it's in less-than-rural or suburban surroundings for some so that they, too may enjoy the benefits of raising and caring for manageable livestock, poultry or other smaller animals in a backyard setting.

We gain much satisfaction from knowing that what we do may make others lives just a bit richer and healthier.  We invite you to visit us, but by appointment please, as our schedules are busy like yours.  We take pride in our farm, which takes hard work and lots of time.  We want to be sure that we can spend the time with you when you arrive so we thank you in advance for making an appointment to visit us.  And bring the kids - they always enjoy it here!
